A few notes about Clans
Master Dragon Lord Cryshalsing2008-01-29 06:49:16
Hello everyone. I shouldn't have to post this but certain incidents have required that I do.

Being a part of a clan is a privelige that a clan bestows upon it's members. With that goes certain responsibility of the member to adhere to that clans rules.

Every clan has it's own rules. Each member is required to follow those rules. It is up to the Clan Leadership to enforce those rules...Not staff.

That said, there are benefits to joining a clan. Among those are comraderie, exp bonus if the clan holds the pyramids, bonuses to attack/def while fighting in the Pyramids etc.

Each clan also has it's rivalries as well. Some more than others. With that comes some draw backs. Certain clans will single out members of their rival for PVP and other 'special' treatment.

This is tolerated, by staff, to an extent. OPEN insults are not tolerated for example. However, certain good natured role playing is allowed.

If you feel you are being treated unfairly, then you are free to YOM your clan leader and staff (As well as the clan leader of the offending members clan) and ask that it be rectified. At NO point should you, as a member, resort to open insults or other activity that violates the site rules.

Next, Each clan has it's own policy regarding defectors. It is not, in anyway, against the rules of the site to change clans. However, it is generally good form to notify your clan leader and tell them why.

If you leave a clan to jump to the one holding the pyramids, for example, for the xp bonuses, then you should expect a rather negative reaction.

Some clans take this rather personally and will take revenge. This is part of the game. Remember, some clans have greater resources than others.

It does not make a clan, or a clan leader, immature for taking action against someone who defects for no better reason than the xp bonus. You should, rather than join another clan and take the easy way to the bonus, take the damned pyramids for the greater good of YOUR clan.

This will be remembered by most clans and likely be rewarded.

Don't go sniveling to your new clan leader about how immature a clan leader is for putting a bounty on your head for leaving them when You did so for an easy xp bonus.

Lastly, if you continuously jump from clan to clan, sooner or later, the other clans will see this, tire of the behavior and you will find yourself without a clan.

Last, but definately not least: YOU CAN, BY YOUR ACTIONS, HURT YOUR CLAN!!! Clans are to be self policing. If you break the site rules, especially in the name of your clan, YOUR CLAN CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE! We are not afraid to do so if necessary. For the most part, we will hold the member responsible if possible.

Knights of the Round Table
Master Dragon Lord Cryshalsing2007-11-21 07:47:51
I just had to do something that I never believed that I would have to do. Knights of the Round Table has been deleted due to the inability of certain members to follow the rules, particularly for poaching and cookies.

All clans and their leadership needs to pay attention to this. KRT has been warned repeatedly about poaching and the last time, they were told under no uncertain terms that further incidents would not only not be tolerated, but further that they (KRT) would be dissolved.

I take no pleasure in this. I had hoped that this action would not be necessary. Unfortunately, it was overly optimistic of me to believe that it would not occur again.

This, unfortunately, needs to serve as a lesson to ALL clans and their respective leadership. When it comes to following the rules pretaining to clans, we, the staff, ARE watching and we will catch you. I am deeply saddened by the failure of the leadership of KRT in carryng out their responsibilities as clan leaders.

Those of you who were in KRT. I am deeply sorry. It is you whom are the true victims. I am sure that the other clans on this site will welcome you to their ranks.

Those of you who have been problems... Well, you will be receiving an email from me personally.

Again, this was an unfortunate necessity. I hope now, that all clans, will see that we, the administration, are very serious about the rules.
